Westend is a district of the East Hessian city ​​of Fulda .

Location and history

Westend is west of the Fulda city ​​center below Haimbach and Galerie and Sickels .

The sub-areas Münsterfeld and Neuenberg also belong to the Westend . This area was formerly part of the barracks of the American Army . After the troops withdrew in 1994, this area was converted into a new residential and commercial area in the western part of the city. Since then, many companies have settled in Westend.

A combined foot and cycle path was built to connect with the Maberzell district .

Infrastructure and traffic
