Besges is a district of the East Hessian city ​​of Fulda .

The district is located west of the core city on Haimberg. District roads 107 and 110 meet in the village .

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in 1239.

In the Turkish tax register of the abbey of Fulda from 1605 the place is mentioned under the name Beßgeß with eight families.

On August 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Besges was incorporated into the city of Fulda as part of the regional reform in Hesse by state law.
