Naidangiin Tüwschinbajar
Naidangiin Tüwschinbajar ( Mongolian Найдангийн Түвшинбаяр , born June 1, 1984 in Sum Saichan , Bulgan-Aimag ) is a Mongolian judoka (weight class light heavyweight - up to 100 kg), who became Olympic champion in Beijing in 2008. He is the first Mongol to ever win Olympic gold for his country.
successes
- At the Asian Games in 2006, he reached fifth place in the heavyweight division and in the open weight division.
- In 2007 he achieved silver at the Asian Championships and bronze in 2008.
- His greatest success was the gold medal, which he achieved in Beijing in 2008 in the fight against the Kazakhs Aschat Schitkejew .
- In London 2012 he won the silver medal.
