Yoshinao Nakada ( Japanese 中 田 喜 直, Nakada Yoshinao ; August 1, 1923 in Shibuya , Tokyo - May 3, 2000 ) was a Japanese composer and music teacher .

Nakada was the third son of the composer and music teacher Akira Nakada (1886-1931). He studied piano and composition at the Tokyo Music School ( Tōkyō Ongaku Gakkō , today: Tokyo University of the Arts ) and graduated in 1943. He became known among other composers in Japan for composing songs. With Natsu no Omoide (memories of summer) , Medaka No Gakko (school of the killifish) and Chiisai Aki Mitsuketa (I found a little autumn) , he became an important composer for this genre at the beginning of the Second World War . From 1953 to 2000 he was first a lecturer and later professor or emanated professor at Ferris University (Feriesu Jogakuin Daigaku) , a women's college in Yokohama .
