Nakayubi-one ( transcription from Japanese 中指 尾根 'middle finger back' ; Norwegian niperyggen ' protruding back' ) is a mountain ridge in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In Sør Rondane , it is the middle of five mountain ridges that extend northward from the Brattnipane like the fingers of a hand.
Japanese scientists took aerial photographs between 1981 and 1982 and 1986, and made surveys in 1984 and 1991. They named him in 1988.
