The Nakpo Kangri forms a mountain range with several peaks in the Karakoram in the People's Republic of China . It is assigned to the Gasherbrum group .
location
The mountain range lies north of the actual Gasherbrums and east of Broad Peak . The 6,266 m high Nakpo La leads south from Nakpo Kangri to the 7,476 m high Spur Tower , which is located on the ridge between Gasherbrum III and Gasherbrum II . The Nakpo Kangri is flowed around in the east by the Eastern Nakpo Glacier and in the west and north by the Northern Gasherbrum Glacier . The western Nakpo glacier , which also flows north, divides the mountain range into an eastern and a western part. The highest point is the centrally located Nakpo Kangri I with 6984 m (or 6956 m ).
More peaks
The Nakpo Kangri has several peaks. The Black Tower (or Nakpo Kangri Southwest ) ( ⊙ ) with 6842 m is worth mentioning . This rises north of the Nakpo La.
