Nana Gray-Johnson (* 1951 in Bathurst ) is a Gambian writer and politician .

Life

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Journalism from Stanford University in 1979 . Before founding his own media agency, he wrote for several newspapers and magazines in The Gambia and London. In 2004 he published the newspaper history of the Gambia under the title ( English The Story of The Newspapers in The Gambia ). Gray-Johnson wrote plays and a collection of short stories. King Pass King , a play, was released in Krio in 1988 . A musical drama with choreography is The Hare and the Tortoise ( German  The Hare and the Tortoise ), he wrote it in Wolof and in English .

As a lecturer in English he worked at the University of Gambia ; In 2013 he became Vice Secretary-General of the former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh .
