Nancy Jazz Pulsations
Nancy Jazz Pulsations is a music festival for jazz and related things such as funk , electronic music and world music in Nancy, France . The ten-day festival is held in various halls and concert halls in the city and is considered the most important in the Lorraine region .
The festival was founded in 1973 by a group of people interested in music in Nancy. So far: Dizzy Gillespie , Oscar Peterson , Sun Ra , Keith Jarrett , Miles Davis , Ray Charles , Norah Jones , Maceo Parker , Frank Wright ( Last Polka In Nancy? 1973) and many more artists. Around 50,000 to 100,000 tickets are sold each year.
