Nanker from Lebus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nanker (before 1227 - after 1248) was Bishop of Lebus in 1248.

In 1227 a Nanker canon was in Breslau , in 1237 and 1238 provost of the cathedral chapter in Lebus . In 1240 a Nanker was mentioned as chancellor of Duke Heinrich II. Of Silesia , in 1245 as dean of the cathedral monastery in Breslau.

In 1248 a bishop Nanker von Lebus was present at a synod of Polish bishops in Breslau and in the same year witnessed a document for the Kamenz monastery , also in Breslau.

Whether it is the same person in all cases cannot be clearly clarified, but it is very possible. No further information is known about him.
