Heinrich I of Lebus
Heinrich (Latin Henricus episcopus Lubucensis ; † after 1244) was Bishop of Lebus from 1233 to 1244.
Life
Heinrich came to the office of Bishop of Lebus in 1233. The first written mention of his person is from 1235.
Heinrich mainly wrote documents for the Templars in Zielenzig , Lietzen and Quartschen , whereby he granted them tithes for their possessions. In 1243 he was mentioned once at the court of Duke Heinrich II of Silesia in Breslau .
During his term of office, a new church of the cathedral monastery was built. Heinrich von Lebus was mentioned for the last time in 1244.
