Rutger Zoodsma (born July 16, 1995 in Sneek ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Rutger Zoodsma is the son of the Dutch national player Ronald Zoodsma , who won the silver medal at the 1992 Olympic Games . He started his own career in 2011 with the talent team in Amsterdam . During this time he was also used in the junior national team. In 2013 he was signed by the first division club Abiant Lycurgus Groningen . He played with the club in the 2013/14 season in the Challenge Cup and a year later in the CEV Cup . He also reached the national cup and championship finals with Groningen in 2015. He then switched to master craftsman Landstede Zwolle . In the 2016/17 season he played for the Swiss first division club TSV Jona . In 2017/18 he played in Solingen for the German Bundesliga club Bergische Volleys .
