Nanni Fabbri

Nanni Fabbri (actually Giovanni Fabbri , born August 15, 1941 in Rome ; † May 1, 2014 there ) was an Italian television and theater director .

Life

Fabbri, son of comedy writer Diego Fabbri , worked between 1963 and 1973 as assistant director for u. a. Duccio Tessari and Dino Risi . In 1974 he directed for the first time himself; for television, like all his films in the future, was created based on a model by his father Drimage . Many successful works were created by 1993, including the television series Don Fiumino ; two of his films also received cinema screenings : 1983 Tentativo di corruzione and 1991 Processo di famiglia .

From the mid-1990s, Fabbri turned to theater direction and directed a. a. at the “Teatro della Pergola” in Florence , for the “Teatro A. Rendano” and at the “Teatro Italia” in Rome.
