Nanshan ( Chinese 南山 區 / 南山 区 , Pinyin Nánshān Qū - "Southern Mountain District") is one of the ten districts of the Chinese city of Shenzhen . The district lies within the special economic zone between Bao'an and Futian .
In Nanshan there are various parks such as Splendid China or Window of the World . The street district Shekou ( Chinese蛇口 街道), which is very popular with foreigners, is also in this district . A lot of foreigners work here and the area also has many bars and international restaurants. In addition, Nei Lingding Dao Island is part of the Shekou Street District. On it there is a large nature reserve with largely untouched South Asian tropical forest.
Administrative structure
At the community level, Nanshan is made up of eight street districts. These are:
- Nantou street district (南 头 Straßen), this is where the district government is located;
- Nanshan Street District (南山 街道);
- Road quarter Shahe (沙河街道);
- Road quarter Shekou (蛇口街道);
- Taoyuan Street District (桃源 街道);
