Naohito Hirai ( Japanese 平井 直 人 Hirai Naohito ; born July 16, 1978 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Hirai learned to play soccer on the Kyoto Purple Sanga youth team . He signed his first contract in 200 with the Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2002 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 213 games. At the end of 2010 he ended his career as a football player. He then played for Renofa Yamaguchi FC (2017) and Kataller Toyama (2018).
