Christoph von Kittlitz
Christoph Freiherr von Kittlitz (born January 20, 1594 - † June 24, 1657 ) was a Prussian councilor .
Life
Christoph von Kittlitz was a member of the Barons von Kittlitz . From 1612 to 1620 he was rector magnificus at the University of Königsberg . In 1620 he became a Prussian district administrator, in 1626 captain of Riesenburg and in 1632 captain of Tapiau . On March 6, 1654 he was promoted to senior counselor and senior marshal in the Duchy of Prussia. Thus he held the third highest rank in the Brandenburg-Prussian government as Obermarschall, behind the Oberburggrave but before the Chancellor .
