Narcissus minor is a plant from the family of the Amaryllis (Amaryllidaceae).
Appearance
Narcissus minor reaches a height of between 10 and 15 centimeters. Their leaves are erect and smooth or ribbed and gray-green in color.
The flowers of this trumpet daffodil are pure yellow and about 3 centimeters wide. The trumpets are widened towards the edge and strongly ruffled. In the Central European garden culture it blooms from March to April. In climatically favored regions, flowering begins as early as December.
Distribution area
The natural range of this type of daffodil is controversial. Some authors consider this unknown. Others see this species as native to Portugal , Spain, and southern France .
