Natália Maria Bernardo (born December 25, 1986 in Luanda ) is an Angolan handball player .

Career

Natália Maria Bernardo initially played for the Angolan club Desportivo Maculusso. After she then ran up for Atlético Petróleos de Luanda , she moved to 1º de Agosto .

Natália Bernardo is a member of the Angolan national team with which she participated in the 2008 , 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games . The backcourt player was also a member of the Angolan World Cup squad five times. At the 2015 World Cup in Denmark, she finished tenth on the top scorer list with 43 goals. With Angola, Bernardo won the 2016 African Championship and was also named MVP .

Her siblings Marcelina Kiala and Luisa Kiala also play handball.
