Marcelina Kiala (born November 9, 1979 in Luanda ) is a former Angolan handball player .

Career

Marcelina Kiala was initially under contract abroad with the French first division club Cercle Dijon Bourgogne , with whom she took part in the EHF Cup . She then returned to Angola, where she joined Atlético Petróleos de Luanda . With Atlético Petróleos de Luanda she won the Angolan championship several times. In 2014 she ended her career.

Kiala was a member of the Angolan national team with which she participated in the 2000 and 2012 Olympic Games . With the Angolan selection she triumphed several times at the African handball championship . Furthermore, the back court player belonged several times to the Angolan World Cup squad. At the 2007 World Cup in France, she finished third in the scorers list with 72 goals.

Her siblings Luisa Kiala and Natália Bernardo also play handball.
