Natalia Gaitán Laguado (born April 3, 1991 in Bogotá ) is a Colombian national soccer player.

Career

Gaitán began her career with Internacional de Bogota Club, with which she took part in various tournaments in Scandinavia in 2002 . With Internacional she played the Dana Cup in Denmark , the Gothia Cup in Sweden , the Norway Cup in Norway and the Helsinki Cup in Finland . In 2009 Gaitán went to the United States to study at the University of Toledo , where she currently scored a goal in 42 games for the Toledo Rockets Women Soccer Team.

International

The left defender played as the captain of the U-17 South American women's football championship , in which Colombia won the title and she scored three goals for her home country during the tournament. A short time later, she took part in the U-17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand for her home country Colombia . This was followed in 2010 by her greatest success to date on an international level. She won fourth place with the U-20s from Colombia at the 2010 U-20 Women's World Cup in Germany . In June 2011 she was nominated for the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany and made her debut in the game against Sweden . It was also used in the games against the USA and North Korea . After two defeats and a draw, Colombia ended its first World Cup participation in the last group place.
