Natalie Siebel

Natalie Siebel (born March 21, 1970 in Konstanz ) is a German sportswoman who was successful as a professional windsurfer in the 1980s and 1990s .

Life

Natalie Siebel grew up in Barbados and learned to windsurf there. With several world championship titles, she is one of the two most successful German windsurfers on the professional world tour alongside Jutta Müller . She discovered Bernd Flessner and introduced him to the professional circus.

In 1990 she suffered a skull fracture when she fell from her bus, but after an extremely short recovery period she was able to take part in the World Cup Sylt again and ended the season as wave world champion. Her sail number was G-11.

Today she has the family name Barry, she has 5 children and lives with her husband in Alberta , Canada .
