Natalija Olexandriwna Mazak ( Ukrainian Наталія Олександрівна Мацак , Russian Natalyja Aleksandrovna Mazak Наталия Александровна Мацак ; international and Natalie Matsak * 17th March 1982 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian prima ballerina .

Life

Natalya Matsak has been dancing since she was four. From 1992 to 2000 she studied at the State Choreographic School in Kiev. After graduating, at the age of seventeen she was hired as a ballet dancer at the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko . There she danced as a prima ballerina in the ballet “ Don Quichotte ”, “ Swan Lake ”, “ Raimonda ”, “ Carmen Suite ”, “ La Bayadère ”, “ Le Corsaire ”, “ Nutcracker ” and “ Spartacus ”. Natalia Matsak performed in numerous countries such as Japan, Korea, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Belarus and Russia.
