Natasha Yarovenko ( Ukrainian Наталія Яровенко / Natalija Jarowenko ; born July 23, 1979 in Odessa ) is a Ukrainian actress .

life and career

Natasha Yarovenko was born in 1979 in the Ukrainian port city of Odessa on the Black Sea . She is the daughter of a Russian mother and a Ukrainian father who was an engineer by profession. She studied Russian-English at the Odessa University . After graduating, she decided to move to Spain with her family and settled in Barcelona in 2000 . According to Natasha Yarovenko, she immediately felt at home here, as she reminds Barcelona of her hometown Odessa in terms of the way of life.

Initially, Natasha Yarovenko worked for a Catalan television station. In 2003 she got her first role in the television film La dona de gel and starred in several Spanish television series. She was also featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine . In German-speaking countries, she became known for the role of Natasha in the film drama One Night in Rome (Habitación en Roma) from 2010, in which, shortly before her wedding, she was seduced by another woman, a chance encounter, to a night of love together . In 2011, this role earned her a nomination for the Spanish Goya film award in the category of best young actress.
