Nathan Luke Robert Doyle (born January 12, 1987 in Derby ) is an English football player who is under contract with the English Football League Championship club Barnsley FC .

Player career

Nathan Doyle started his career with Derby County on November 1, 2003 at the age of 16 years in a 3-0 loss to Preston North End . In the second half of the 2005/2006 season he was loaned to the fourth division Notts County , where he played regularly. For the 2006/2007 season he was awarded to Bradford City , another fourth division club. Nathan Doyle has been playing for Hull City since January 31, 2007 and was promoted to the Premier League with the club in 2008 . The move cost Hull City £ 100,000.

In September 2009, the "Tigers" loaned him to the second division club Barnsley FC , before he moved to Barnsley in 2010 on a permanent contract basis.
