Nathaniel Kahn

Nathaniel Kahn (born November 9, 1962 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American screenwriter , director and film producer .

Life

Kahn first attended Germantown Friends School and then studied philosophy at Yale University . Then he worked as an actor at the theater. In 2004 he was nominated for the Oscar in the category Best Documentary for the documentary My Architect about his father Louis I. Kahn . The research and shooting for this film took a total of five years. For the 2007 short film Two Hands - The Leon Fleisher Story about the pianist Leon Fleisher , he received another Oscar nomination in 2007. Both times, however, he received nothing at the award ceremony.

In addition to his work as a screenwriter, director and film producer, he worked alongside Luke Perry in the 1997 thriller Deadly Lovers as an actor in a small supporting role as Dr. To see peck .
