The National Sports Stadium in the Zimbabwean capital Harare is a multi-purpose arena that seats 60,000. Mainly football matches are played in the stadium, but rugby union matches or concerts are also held there. On October 7, 1988, a benefit concert was held as part of Amnesty International's Human Rights Now! given in the stadium. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band , Sting , Peter Gabriel , Tracy Chapman , Youssou N'Dour and Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi performed.
