The National League A was the top division in Swiss small-field handball .

history

With the trial operation in 1966 , a Swiss small-field handball championship was held in a league for the first time. The Grasshoppers Club Zurich was the champion of the first season .

With the 1967 season of National League A, regular game operations began and a National League B was created.

The game was organized from the beginning by the handball committee (HBA) of the Swiss Federal Gymnastics Club .
