The Sierra del Divisor National Park is located in the Ucayali and Loreto departments in Peru and borders on Brazil . It was founded in 2015 and has an area of 13,545 km².
climate
There is a hot and humid climate with an annual mean temperature of 25 ° C and a rainfall between 1600 and 2000 mm distributed over a period of 9 to 10 months. The rainy season is from October to May.
fauna
The national park has a great diversity of species. It is home to 16 species of primate - the largest number in Peru - including red uakari , brown woolly monkey , red howler monkey , hooded capuchin , white- browed capuchin monkey , brown-backed tamarin , black -faced spider monkey and pygmy marmoset .
Other mammals in the park include Jaguar , Bush dog , short-eared dog , tapir , White-lipped Peccary , collared peccary , giant anteater , neotropical otter and giant armadillo .
Among the reptiles and amphibians are crocodile caiman , Terekay rail turtle , forest turtle , poison dart frogs and Thecadactylus rapicauda , the largest gecko species of Amazonia.
The birds in the park are represented by parrots such as macaws and amazon parrots , hokkos , the ant bird Thamnophilus divisorius and herons .

The plant species include the fig tree Ficus insipida , Calycophyllum spruceanum , Triplaris , coral trees , Inga , Euterpe precatoria , Trema micrantha , Cedrelinga and Nealchornea .
