Native American Music Award

The Native American Music Award (NAMMY) is a music award that recognizes indigenous artists from across North America. The Native American Music Award was launched in 1998 by record labels such as Canyon , SOAR , Silverwave and Turtle Island . In the annual award ceremony, artists are honored in over 30 categories. All current Grammy Award winners for the Native American Music category previously won the NAMMY.

NAMA Hall of Fame

Rickey Medlocke ( Blackfoot , Lynyrd Skynyrd ), Janice Marie Johnson ( A Taste of Honey ), Pat Vegas and Tony Bellamy ( Redbone ), Felipe Rose ( Village People ), Crystal Gayle and Jimi Hendrix were among others. a. inducted into the NAMA Hall of Fame.
