Natsumi Hoshi (Japanese: 星 奈 津 美 , Hoshi Natsumi ; born August 21, 1990 in Saitama , Japan ) is a Japanese swimmer who specializes in 200 m butterfly. In this discipline, she won the world title in 2015 and the bronze medal at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.

Hoshi studies sports science at Waseda University in Tokyo. In 2006, symptoms of Graves' disease , a condition that causes the thyroid to become overactive and cause fatigue, appeared. In November 2014, her thyroid was removed. From January 2015 she competed again. In early 2011, she was named the best athlete of the year by the Saitama Swimming Federation.
