Natureman triathlon

The NaturemanTriathlon is a triathlon sport event over the middle distance in Les Salles-sur-Verdon on the Lac de Sainte-Croix , Var department . The competition has been held annually in October since 2012.

organization

The organizers offer three different competitions over a weekend in October. Around 2200 participants started in 2015. The originally planned sprint distance is no longer offered. The course record has been held by Mike Aigroz in 4:04:36 hours for men since 2015 and Jeanne Collonge in 4:42:57 for women over the half-distance since 2016 .

Route

  • The swimming distance includes a lap of 2300 meters in the Lac de Sainte-Croix .
  • The cycling distance of 90 km leads through the Maritime Alps and the Verdon Gorge with an altitude of 1338 meters.
  • The 19.5 km run in hilly and impassable terrain has an altitude of 227 meters.
