Brachtper Bruch nature reserve

The Brachtper Bruch nature reserve is a 17.28 hectare nature reserve (NSG) southeast of the village of Brachtpe in the urban area of Drolshagen in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was designated in 2008 by the district council with the landscape plan No. 4 Wenden - Drolshagen .

Area description

The NSG is a biotope complex of springs and spring streams, quarry forest and old beech wood. In the quarry forest there are peat moss-rich alder floodplain forests and birch bog forests. In these moist and wet forests, species such as millet sedge , lingonberry , beak sedge , star sedge , narrow-leaved cotton grass and swamp violet occur
