Silberkuhle nature reserve

The Silberkuhle nature reserve is a 37.27 hectare nature reserve (NSG) southwest of the village of Halbhusten in the urban area of Drolshagen in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was designated in 2008 by the district council with the landscape plan No. 4 Wenden - Drolshagen . The NSG borders directly on the city and district borders. The Puhlbruch / Silberkuhle nature reserve borders directly on the area of ​​the Oberbergischer Kreis in the Reichshof community .

Area description

The NSG is a spring bog complex with rare and endangered animal and plant species. There are typical bog species such as peat moss , bell heather , cranberries and bog lily .
