The nature reserve Gipperbachtal and Grauwackesteinbruch Stupperhof is a 12.26 hectare nature reserve (NSG) southwest of Drolshagen in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was designated in 2008 by the district council with the landscape plan No. 4 Wenden - Drolshagen . As early as 1989, the Arnsberg district government designated a 4.31 hectare nature reserve Grauwackesteinbruch Stupperhof . The NSG is divided into two parts by a street.

Area description

The NSG is the Grauwackesteinbruch Stupperhof and areas around the Gipperbach . the long-abandoned Grauwackesteinbruch has up to 20 m of rock. There are partially wet meadow areas by the stream. Other amphibians include mountain newt ( Triturus alpestris ), common toad ( Bufo bufo ), thread newt ( Triturus helveticus ), pond newt ( Triturus vulgaris ) and common frog ( Rana temporaria ).
