Bremgetal nature reserve and side valleys
The nature reserve Bremgetal and Seitentäler is a 30.98 hectare nature reserve (NSG) east of Bremge / Biggesee in the urban area of Attendorn in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was designated in 2013 by the district council with the landscape plan No. 1 Biggetalsperre - Listertalsperre . The nature reserve Waldenburg is directly adjacent to the northeast of the NSG .
Area description
The NSG is a grassland valley with a natural stream, species-rich wetland and poor grassland. There are also remnants of fen and rocks in the NSG. The typical habitat plant species such as swamp violets , narrow-leaved cotton grass , devil bite , millet sedge , peat moss and orchids occur. The valley is the feeding habitat of the black stork .
