Königsbüscher forest nature reserve
The Königsbüscher grove is a forest area with an oak-beech population in the southeast of Bochum in the district of Querenburg . An area of 13 hectares has been designated as a nature reserve here since 1990 . A stream rises in the forest and flows into the Oelbach .
The Bochum University of Applied Sciences , an industrial park and the Oelbachtal sewage treatment plant are located in the immediate vicinity of the area . To the west is the Kalwes forest , further south the Kemnader See .
