The Langweiher Moor is a nature reserve near Kastl in the Upper Palatinate district of Tirschenreuth in Bavaria .
The nature reserve is located 2 kilometers southwest of Kastl. It borders directly on the Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park .
The 15 hectare area is largely a transitional moor. Most of it is wooded and the pine moor forest dominates. There are puddles of bog to be found in some open spots. The near-natural moor area in the natural area of the Upper Palatinate hill country is home to raised bog peat moss communities, rich in dwarf shrubs, birch and alder forests and scrub forest , small sedge swamps and large sedge meadows as well as wet herbaceous vegetation.
The nature reserve was designated on May 1, 1986.
