Nauderer Mountains
The Nauderer Mountains are the westernmost part of the Ötztal Alps . The area is relatively small, the mountains do not show any glaciation. The area is bounded by the Radurschlbach in the northeast, the upper Inn Valley in the northwest and the main Alpine ridge in the south, which at the same time represents the border with the Vinschgau in South Tyrol . The highest peak in the group is the Mittlere Seekarkopf ( 3,063 m above sea level ).
The area between Tscheyegg and Bergkastel tip is the ski resort of Nauders and chair accessible and other lifts. For climbers who are climbing routes on the mountain Kastel tip ( " Goldweg ") and the Plamorter tip ( " Tiroler Weg ") interesting. The area around the Hohenzollernhaus is attractive for mountain hikers, and for hikers the numerous marked hiking trails in the mountains around Nauders.
