Naufahu Anitoni Tahi (* 30th October 1981 in Fontana , California ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the full backs . He played for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

College career

Tahi gained 445 yards of space in his freshman year of college. As a Mormon , he took three years off college to do missionary work . In his senior year, Naufahu Tahi had 872 yards and eight touchdowns .

NFL career

The Cincinnati Bengals signed Tahi as a free agent in 2006 . However, he was always only a reserve player there and left the club a short time later.

In November of the same year he came under contract with the Minnesota Vikings . However, Tahi was not able to really assert itself until 2008 . He completed every game, primarily as a blocker for Adrian Peterson . He gained 37 yards of space himself. Because of his performance, the Bengals took notice again and presented Naufahu with an offer, but the Vikings were able to persuade him to stay with a new contract. In 2010 he had his first touchdown in the game against the New York Giants . He extended his contract for another year in April 2010.
