Sabine Hamer (born July 13, 1953 in Echte ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Sabine Hamer studied at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and passed the secondary school exam in Pinneberg . She also completed a distance learning course with a focus on business administration and economics . In 1985 she joined the SPD. In 1986 she was elected to the city ​​council of Barmstedt .

In 1988 she ran for the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein in the Pinneberg-Nord constituency and received the direct mandate. She was re-elected in 1992 and was a member of the state parliament until 1996. She was a member of the Environmental Protection Committee and the Education Committee, and from 1992 to 1996 of the Judges Committee and the Constituency Committee. In 1989 she took part in the 9th Federal Assembly.

After leaving the state parliament, she worked at a secondary school in Tornesch and in 2002 became the rector of a secondary school in Elmshorn .

Sabine Hamer is a member of the Education and Science Union , the Association for the Environment and Nature Conservation Germany , the Nature Conservation Association Germany and the Workers' Welfare Association.

She is married and has two kids.
