Neale Donald Walsch (born September 10, 1943 in Milwaukee ) is an American author of spiritual books. In them Walsch present a universalist and panentheistic embossed world and God's image . He became famous with his bestseller - Trilogy Conversations with God .

Life

Walsch grew up in a Catholic family. He studied the Bible , but also the Rig Veda . He worked in various functions in the field of media and marketing . Walsch worked as a journalist and publisher, was program director of a radio station, press spokesman and founded a successful advertising and marketing company.

At the beginning of the 1990s, Walsch's life got off course. All his property was destroyed in a fire, his marriage broke up, and he was seriously injured in a car accident. As a result, he lost his job, became homeless and was forced to spend the night in a tent outside the small town of Ashland . He collected aluminum cans in order to exchange them for money at a recycling station. Walsch then wrote an "angry letter" to God, which "answered" him. Walsch claims to have received his trilogy Conversations with God and other titles such as New Revelations directly from God via automatic writing .

Walsch is the author of 20 books on spirituality and its application in daily life, with which he serves a wide readership, especially in the esoteric scene. The core theme of his publications is the foundation of a new spirituality in order to prevent the "human experiment" from coming to an end too quickly. In 2003 he started a movement called Humanity's Team for this purpose . Various other study groups were formed around the world. In 2004, around 400 supporters organized themselves in Humanity's Team Germany to spread Walsch's ideas.
