Nebling is a district and a village in the Untergriesbach market in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau .

location

Nebling is located about 4 km northwest of Untergriesbach and about one kilometer west of Schaibing. The university town of Passau is around 20 km away.

history

In the course of the municipal edict of 1818, Nebling , which belongs to the Ederlsdorf tax district , became part of the newly founded municipality of Leizesberg , which was renamed the municipality of Schaibing soon afterwards (at the latest in 1825) . With the incorporation of Schaibling on January 1, 1972, the place came to the municipality of Untergriesbach.

Nebling had twelve residential buildings and 54 inhabitants at the census on May 25, 1987.

Nebling is predominantly Catholic. It has belonged to the Schaibing parish in the Diocese of Passau since 1954.
