Location of Ederlsdorf in Bavaria

Ederlsdorf is part of the municipality of Obernzell and a district in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau .

The village lies on a plateau about 160 meters above the Eger and one kilometer east of it.

The formerly independent municipality of Ederlsdorf, consisting of the 18 parts of the municipality Bärnbachmühle , Breitwies , Eckerstampf , Ederlsdorf, Erlau , Figermühle , Grub , Haar , Hötzmannsöd , Leopoldsdorf , Matzenberg , Niedernhof , Nottau , Öd , Ödstadl , Rackling , Steinöd , Weidwies and around 1337 hectares large, was completely incorporated into Obernzell in 1972.
