Nedeffe
Nedeffe , also Netfe or Netphe , and not to be confused with the town of Netphen , is a deserted village near Frankenberg in the North Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg . Its exact location is not yet known; it is believed to be in the area of the historic Wolkersdorf court and in the valley of the Nemphe .
history
Little is known about the history of the settlement:
- In 1243 the nobles of Naumburg donated their tithe to the monastery Haina in Netphe.
- On August 4, 1324 selling Eckhard of Helfenberg the Archbishop of Mainz, Matthias von Buchegg half of the village Wolkersdorf who deserted Netfe and Gramishain.
- In 1336 the place, which had already fallen desolate, is referred to as an accessory from Wolkersdorf.
