Lukas Müllauer (born July 3, 1997 ) is an Austrian freestyle skier . He starts in the disciplines halfpipe , slopestyle and big air .

Career

Müllauer took part in the European Cup for the first time in Mayrhofen in January 2014 and finished ninth in the Slopestyle. This was followed by a third and a second place in the slopestyle on the Vogel and at the end of the season third place in the slopestyle ranking in the European Cup. At the 2014 Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco , he took 23rd place in slopestyle and 13th place in the halfpipe. In January 2015 he came in at the World Championships on Kreischberg on the 38th place in slopestyle and on the 21st place in the halfpipe. In the European Cup he won three Slopestyle wins and won the Slopestyle ranking. In February 2015 he started in Park City for the first time in the World Cup and achieved 36th place in slopestyle and 22nd place in the halfpipe. At the Junior World Championships 2015 in Chiesa in Valmalenco, he was seventh in slopestyle and sixth in halfpipe. In March 2017 he finished 42nd (Slopestyle) and 13th (Halfpipe) at the World Championships in the Sierra Nevada .

Müllauer was Austrian champion twice in the halfpipe (2015, 2017), in slopestyle (2016, 2017) and in big air (2016, 2017).

On March 16, 2019, he won his first World Cup victory in Big Air at the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Québec, Canada , and also the first ever podium finish for an ÖSV freeskier in this discipline.
