Nedeljko Rašula

Nedeljko Rašula ( Cyrillic : Недељко Рашула ; born June 20, 1937 in Čaplja, Sanski Most ; † beginning of April 2011 in Sremska Mitrovica , Vojvodina , Serbia ) was a Bosnian-Herzegovinian politician of the Srpska Demokratska Stranka (SDS) from the Srpska .

Life

After attending school, Rašula studied literature at the University of Belgrade and worked as a literary scholar after completing her studies. Later he began to get involved in politics and in 1990 was one of the founders of the SDS in Sanski Most and was also the first chairman of the SDS city committee there.

In 1990 he also became mayor of Sanski Most and held this office until 1995. Shortly before the founding of the Republika Srpska on January 9, 1992, he was elected a member of the first National Assembly in October 1991 and was a member of this until October 1996.

After his term as mayor ended, he was appointed Minister of Education and Culture in 1995 during the tenure of President Radovan Karadžić . In 1996 he resigned from this ministerial office.
