Nedjalka Angelova

Nedjalka Angelowa ( Bulgarian Недялка Ангелова , English transcription Nedyalka Angelova; born June 26, 1949 in Kyustendil ) is a former Bulgarian pentathlete , long jumper and hurdler .

In 1969 she was at the European Indoor Games in Belgrade eleventh in the long jump and at the European Athletics Championships in Athens ninth in the pentathlon . In the following year she came in the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 in Vienna in the long jump to 14th place and won silver in the pentathlon at the Universiade .

In 1971 she was tenth in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Sofia and finished the pentathlon after the third discipline at the European Championships in Helsinki .

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she was sixth in the pentathlon . In 1973 she was fourth in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Rotterdam and eliminated over 60 m hurdles in the preliminary run.

She was Bulgarian champion in pentathlon three times (1969–1971) and once in long jump (1970) and over 100 m hurdles (1970). In 1969 and 1971, she won the national long jump title indoors.
