Neffa (2007)

Neffa (born October 7, 1967 in Scafati , province of Salerno ; real name Giovanni Pellino ) is an Italian musician.

Career

In the 1980s he was the drummer for various hardcore punk bands , including Negazione and Impact . During the 1990s he worked as a rapper and producer in the hip-hop groups Isola Posse All Stars and Sangue Misto . In 1996 Giovanni Pellino appeared for the first time as a solo artist under the name Neffa . Since 2001 he has turned more to pop music .

In 2004 he took part in the Sanremo Festival with the song Le ore piccole . In German-speaking countries he is known for the song Cambierà from his 2006 album Alla fine della notte , which was used in Ramazzotti advertising in 2008 . Neffa also wrote songs for other artists. In 2006 he wrote the song Resta qui for Mietta and in 2007 the song Fiore for Adriano Celentano .
