The Nemo ( Russian Немо , English: Nemo Peak ) is one of two volcanoes on the Kuril island of Onekotan .
The volcano is located on the edge of two calderas that merge into one another . The maximum height is 1018 m . At the northern end is the Chornoje Lake ( чёрное озеро , "black lake"). The last eruptions of the volcano occurred in 1938, older eruptions are also known from the middle of the 18th century. The second volcano on the island is called Krenitsyn .
