Nemyrynzi ( Ukrainian Немиринці ; Russian Немиринцы Nemirinzy ) is a village in the southeast of the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 770 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in 1556, is located on the Hobchyzja river ( Гобчиця ) in the southwest of Ruschyn Rajon and is the center of the district council of the same name , which also includes the village of Selene ( Зелене ⊙ ) with about 80 inhabitants. The Rajon center of Ruschyn is 29 km northeast and the Oblast center Zhytomyr about 100 km northwest of the village.
Personalities
- Chrystofor Baranowskyj (1874–1941), Ukrainian cooperative member, politician and finance minister of the Ukrainian People's Republic , was born in the village.
