The Neofit Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Неофит wrach Neofit ) is a 1750 m high mountain on Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Imeon Range, it rises 1.13 km south-southwest of Slaveykov Peak , 3 km southwest of Mount Foster and 10 km northeast of Cape James . The Gramada Glacier is to the south, the Armira Glacier to the east and south-east of it.
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the Bulgarian clergyman Neofit Rilski (1793–1881), who had translated the Bible into Bulgarian .
